What is the material Solid Surface?
Solid Surface is the collective name for composite materials that are colored in the mass. They are solid and homogeneous and can be used for demanding applications.
All Solid Surface products have Aluminium trihydrate (ATH) as their basic ingredient. As a second component and binder, acrylic or polyester resins are used.
Aluminium hydroxide gives the material a high rigidity and also ensures that it is more heat-resistant than other plastics.
Acrylic and/or polyester gives a flexibility that mainly results in good workability and high impact resistance and strength.

Maintaining the material Solid Surface
For normal cleaning you can use a natural detergent, think of green soap, cleaning vinegar. If there is a scratch in the material, you can 'polish' the material again by using a sponge and Cif. This can be done by making circular movements over the surface. Then rinse the cleaned surface thoroughly with lukewarm water and wipe dry with a clean soft cloth.
